MA44 Lip seal for piston, single effect, made of Ptfe reinforced-Graphite with a stainless steel spring, suitable for hydraulic fluids of all kinds, hot air and water vapor.
Its material composition resists to many chemicals.
This type of seal is the typical single effect seal for piston, which works on the outer lip; the presence of the stainless steel spring inside keeps the lip constantly open to ensure sealing even in absence of pressure.
It is usually mounted on axially open housing groove, and most rarely on semi-open or closed housing.
MA44 is characterized by low friction and substantial duration; in special applications compounds alternatives springs are available.
