GIR-GER series have been manufactured with a new technology that reduces seals' cost and provides a longer service-life being this seals mounted in closed housing groove. Designed and particualarly suggested for hydraulic cylinders, both simple and double-acting, are also suitable for pumps, press machines and earth moving equipment when consumption is significant, friction is low, space reduced and low cost is required. GIR-GER are available in two versions stated as GER (piston head application) and GIR (rod application) and are composed of two seperate parts: a dynamic component available in reinforced PTFE - which offers excellent sealing, low friction and high wear resistance to corosion - and an energizing elastomeric part TECNORING in synthetic rubber - which works as radial sealing force.
