FEP/Silicone ENCAPSULATED O-RINGS
The O-rings (OR) - FEP/Silicone are made up of two elements, a FEP (FluoroEthylenePropylene) coating and an internal part in MVQ Silicone elastomer.
This combination combines excellent chemical resistance of fluoroplastic materials with the elastic properties of the elastomer obtaining an optimal seal, the FEP guarantees protection from chemical agents, the Silicone core ensures elasticity to the o-ring.
This o-ring (Fep/Silicone MVQ) is preferable in the range of encapsulated o-rings for applications where there are low temperatures and in the food sector.
Encapsulated O-rings reduce the frequency of maintenance where corrosive fluids and gases cause failures.
