The AGI and AGE rings are guide elements made of plastic materials (acetal resins with appropriate fillers ) and are molded with very narrow tolerances to protect the axial loads from misalignments due to metal processing. They are widely used for guiding pistons and cylinder rods for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in combination with seals without their own guiding system. Particularly suitable as a replacement for traditional guide systems made with anti-friction metals, given the low friction coefficient they can operate correctly even in conditions of poor lubrication. They are available in two different versions: AGE, for guiding pistons or when contact occurs on the external surface of the ring, AGI for guiding rods or rods or when sliding occurs on the internal surface of the ring.
