The BS washer consists of a square section metal ring inside which an elastomer ring with a trapezoidal section is vulcanized.
Bonded Seal - compared to other sealing washers such as copper washers - has the advantage that it can be disassembled and reused.
This version is not self-centering, it does not have a lip to ensure centering.
The seal is ensured by compression, with consequent deformation of the elastomer towards the sealing surface.
