TTI / L / AI is a single acting rod seal.
It has a profile with the inner lip shorter than the outer one.
It has a secondary sealing lip (L) to improve the sealing action. Another function of the secondary lip is to avoid particle intrusions that can damage the seal.
This version with two lips and the presence of an anti-extrusion ring was designed for use where the operating conditions are particularly severe; the variant type TTI / L / AI is used in the presence of high pressure, high extrusion factor and large mechanical coupling clearances.
