TDI is a rod seal. It can be used with mineral oils and in modified form with water-based fluids, fire resistant fluids and compressed air. It consists of 2 parts, a ring with a polyurethane sealing lip and a ring that is in contact with the rod in ptfe + bronze.
Even at rest, the profile of the gasket has a preload that is effective even in the absence of pressure. The bronze ptfe ring resists abrasion and wear. The PTFE ring also has a step on the diameter that allows further lubrication of the seal during work.
The seal is very effective and long lasting and with this profile the stick-slip effect is avoided. This seal is suitable for hydraulic cylinders which must operate with low friction.
