The “F5” series piston pressure switches allow the switching of a microswitch when a predetermined pressure value is reached. The intervention point is found, after removing the protective cap, by turning the internal screw located in the center of the instrument clockwise to increase and vice versa to decrease the value. Mechanical stops protect both the spring and the microswitch from overpressure. Compact and economical in construction, it finds applications in systems where a continuous variation of the intervention point is not required, vice versa the possible blocking of the protective cap can avoid an easy or unwanted change of the value itself.
