Piston T-Seals

Designed to fit imperial o’ring housings , T-seals are an ideal replacement for o’rings. The T-shaped sealing element serves as a slide ring that’s highly resistant twisting and spiral failure. Piston T-seals seal statically against the groove ID and are suitable for pressures up to 345 bar (5,000 psi).

Piston T-Seal (MPT)

MPT profiles have a nitrile (NBR) rubber sealing element and hard polyamide, non-locking anti-extrusion rings.

Locking Piston T-Seal (LTP)

MPT profiles have a nitrile (NBR) rubber sealing element and hard polyamide anti-extrusion rings that lock into the rubber sealing element.

ROD T-SEAL (LTP)

TR-style rod seals are designed to retrofit O’Rings in no-backup type grooves. T-Seals offer a tight
sealing assembly with a stable cross-sectional shape and added extrusion resistance with the help of
the back-up rings.

	Piston T-Seals are designed to retrofit O’Rings in typically no-back-up standard grooves. Their flat base and positively actuated anti-extrusion rings provide improved stability and extrusion resistance. Piston T-Seals eliminate the spiral or twisting failure that can occur when using O’Rings against dynamic surfaces. Certain sizes are also available for one and two back-up O’Ring groove designs.
